Noni Madueke’s Arsenal Future in Doubt as Juventus and Atletico Madrid Prepare January Interest

According to a report published by FootballTransfers on Monday, September 14, 2026, Arsenal winger Noni Madueke has attracted interest from Atletico Madrid and Juventus ahead of the January transfer window.

Madueke joined Arsenal from Chelsea last summer, but he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter under Mikel Arteta. Bukayo Saka remains the manager’s preferred option on the right wing, leaving the 24-year-old with limited opportunities.

So far this season, Madueke has played just 23 minutes across the Premier League and Champions League, out of a possible 450. His lack of playing time has reportedly raised questions about his future at the Emirates.

FootballTransfers claims that both Atletico Madrid and Juventus are monitoring the situation and could make a move for the winger in January.

Madueke’s current estimated transfer value is €49.7 million, with his potential value placed between €44.8 million and €54.7 million. Arsenal, meanwhile, paid around €56 million to sign him from Chelsea.

A possible departure could also create more room for teenage prospect Max Dowman to become involved in the first team. The 16-year-old impressed during his appearances for Arsenal last season and is regarded as one of the club’s brightest young talents.

With Saka already established on the right, Arsenal could see Madueke’s exit as an opportunity to give Dowman more exposure while allowing him to learn from one of the team’s senior attacking players.

Madueke still offers pace, direct running and the ability to trouble defenders in one-on-one situations. However, questions remain over his consistency in front of goal. FootballTransfers notes that he has scored eight goals in 47 appearances for Arsenal.

For now, Madueke remains part of Arteta’s squad, but continued limited playing time could make a January move increasingly realistic if Atletico Madrid or Juventus decide to step up their interest.
