Manchester United have reportedly suffered a potential team news setback ahead of their clash with Leeds United, with Kobbie Mainoo expected to be unavailable for the match.
According to a report attributed to Izaan (@Izaan__7), the young midfielder will not be available for the encounter, with Michael Carrick said to have confirmed the development.
Mainoo’s absence could affect United’s options in midfield, given his ability to retain possession, link up play and help the team control the tempo of a match.
However, further confirmation from Manchester United or Carrick’s official press conference would be needed to establish the reason for his unavailability.
United fans will now be waiting for more updates on the midfielder’s status ahead of the Leeds encounter.
